Ms. Micki serves as the Director of Mt Pleasant Child Care and has worked here since 1995. She has done it all, from being the after-school janitor to the assistant director. Micki has earned an associate’s degree from CCBC in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Micki recently took on our second Pre-Kindergarten class for the 2025-2026 school year as she missed working closely with the children! She loves all the hugs from the children and seeing their personalities form! Ms. Micki lives in Potter Township with her husband, two daughters Shelbi and Kinzi, dog Mocha, and cats Bluebell and Rudolph. In her free time, she enjoys being a dance mom for her daughters, camping and boating, being outdoors, painting, and being creative. Ms. Micki is also a member of Mt Pleasant Church and serves as the Preschool-Kindergarten Sunday School teacher.
Ms. Sally has worked with us since 2004 and began working with the young toddlers, then lead the 3-year-old preschool class, now teaches one of the Pre-Kindergarten classes. She also serves as Assistant Director. Sally has a degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock. Ms. Sally lives with her husband and two doggies who she loves very much! In her free time, she likes to try new recipes in the kitchen and spend time with her friends and family.
Ms. Laura has worked at Mt Pleasant Child Care since 2007. She is an Assistant Group Supervisor, and leads are infant class. Ms. Laura loves watching the children learn new things and grow. She resides in Raccoon Township with her husband Shawn, and her dog Gizmo. Ms. Laura enjoys spending her time with her daughters and granddaughter and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Ms. Becky has been with Mt Pleasant Child Care since November of 2024. She is an Assistant Group Supervisor and loves being in our infant classroom. It’s a joy for her to feed the babies and meet their needs! She also loves to watch the toddlers and keep them safe and happy and witness the joy of parents picking up their children each day. Ms. Becky lives in Potter Township with her husband and their husky shepherd, Ayla. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and serving her church, where is part of the homeless outreach and monthly food pantry.
Ms. Cyndi lives in Hookstown with her husband. She has worked with Mt Pleasant Child Care as an Assistant Group Supervisor since November of 2017. Ms. Cyndi mostly works with our infants and tiny toddlers. She enjoys Circle Time and crafts with the little ones. In her spare time, Ms. Cyndi serves her own church wherever needed and spends time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ms. Angela lives in Hookstown with her husband and two daughters. She has worked at Mt Pleasant Child Care since 2022 as an Assistant Group Supervisor, mostly with the Tiny Toddler class. Ms. Angela loves creating crafts and playing with the children. She attends Wildwood Chapel and loves spending time with her family, especially at camp.
Miss Polina lives in Hookstown with her parents and their family dog. She has been at Mt Pleasant Child Care since July of 2023. Miss Polina is an Assistant Group Supervisor, mostly in our Tiny Toddler class. She loves seeing the kids learn new things every day! Outside of Mt Pleasant, Miss Polina likes to watch sports, ride her quad, and spend time with her friends and family.
Ms. Holly has worked at Mt Pleasant Child Care since 2018 as an Assistant Group Supervisor. She fell in love with the Toddler class and took over as their lead teacher shortly after she came to us. Ms. Holly loves to love on the children and help them learn and grow, especially in their relationship with Jesus. Ms. Holly lives in Hopewell Township with her husband and three children. She is a member of Mt Pleasant Church and serves in several children and youth ministries and as their Director of Children & Family Outreach. Ms. Holly loves spending time with her family and friends, walking, going to Bible study, gardening, and being outdoors.
Ms. Joyce lives locally with her husband, son, and two daughters. Besides their cat, Wallace, they also have two goats, Missy and Sassy. Ms. Joyce has served with Mt Pleasant Child Care since August 2024 and leads our Preschool 3s class. She loves all the hugs and giggles from all the kids! In her spare time, Ms. Joyce enjoys being with her family and crafting!
Mr. Chris has worked with us since 2022 and is the Preschool 4s lead teacher. He loves the moments when the children make him literally laugh out loud! Mr. Chris lives in Hopewell Township with his wife and two children. He also a Bernese mountain dog named Shelby and a tabby cat named Milo. Mr. Chris loves to read and collect and watch a variety of movies. He also likes sports.
Ms. Denise lives in Hookstown with her husband and two of her three children: Kori and Dalton, as well as her dachshund named Scooter. Ms. Denise holds a bachelor and master’s in business education and an elementary certification. She is a Group Supervisor serving in all classes, wherever needed. Ms. Denise’s favorite part of childcare is the opportunity to care for, love, and teach all the children about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ms. Denise is a member of Mt Pleasant Church where she attends Sunday School, prepares Communion, and teaches the confirmation classes. She enjoys digital scrapbooking and spending time with her other son, Dustin, his wife Shayla, and her grandsons, Easton and Enzlo.
Mr. Greg has worked at Mt Pleasant Child Care since 2019. He is an Assistant Group Supervisor, working with all our classes. Mr. Greg loves to play and joke around with all the children! In his free time, he likes to watch sports, attend games, and love on his three dogs: Max, Chance, and Flash.
Ms. Joan lives in Brighton Twp with her husband. She has worked at Mt Pleasant Child Care since August 2015 as an Assistant Group Supervisor, stating this is the most rewarding job she has ever had. Ms. Joan enjoys all the love and laughter shared with the children and the friendship of her coworkers. Ms. Joan is a member of Mt Pleasant Church and enjoys walking and reading in her spare time.
Ms. Sara lives in Potter Township with her husband. She has been with Mt Pleasant Child Care for over 33 years. She holds an associate’s degree in early childhood education. Ms. Sara retired from her position as Director of our childcare facility a few years ago and is now a Group Supervisor serving wherever needed. She loves to be with the children! Ms. Sara is also a member of Mt Pleasant Church and serves on the Praise Team, in Children & Worship, and several committees. She is also the Potter Township Auditor. In her free time Ms. Sara enjoys painting, gardening, crafting, and caring for her pets: dogs Winnie and Archie, cats Boots and Cleopatra, and horses Marian and Ali.
