This month has begun with great weather so that all the children are getting to go outside almost every day. Please remember to label your child’s coat. We have so many coats left each week, we cannot keep them forever, so if there is a name in them, we can find it’s owner. Every few weeks, the coats that are not claimed, get donated to Christian House Baptist Chapel’s clothing bank.
We will be holding our Open House on Friday, November 21st from 6:00-8:00. Please come to find out what happens each day, and this is a great chance to speak to your child’s caregiver. There will be refreshments, and a book share table. If you would like to donate any books you no longer have a need for, bring them in and choose different ones.
Our Thanksgiving feast will be on Wednesday, November 26th. We will have a party in the morning, followed by a traditional turkey luncheon. Please remember that we will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.
Please be sure to welcome some of our former staff back when you see them. Shannon Baczek is working here while she earns her Master’s Degree and Kristin Vinisky is returning for a short while while she in between her Zoo opportunities. We are so fortunate that these former staff members are willing to return to help out when they are needed.
Also remember that we are collecting items for Operation Christmas through Samaratan’s Purse. If you would care to participate, please find more information about this in the office.
