Even though we can’t go on any field trips yet, this month is full of activities. The first week is Fire Prevention and Safety Week. Monday brought us a visit from Officer Michelle Fink who protects Raccoon Township. She spoke about being safe all the time, especially during Halloween. She gave the children some hand outs and showed them her car. We will have a visit on Wednesday from Medic Rescue and on Friday, from the Raccoon Township Fire Department. We are grateful to all who come and volunteer their time to speak with our children. If you or someone you know, have a subject to share with our children, please let us know. We love having visitors.
Our Harvest Party will be held on October 30th. (Please no costumes) On party days, we have so much fun doing different activities and playing games. If you bring in treats to share, remember, no peanut candy or treats containing peanuts. If you would like to help, party day is a great time to give us a helping hand. Sign up for an activity in the office.
Mt. Pleasant’s youth group, The Way, is hosting a “Trunk or Treat” here on Saturday, October 31st from 2pm – 4pm. All are welcome! What a great way to celebrate.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we are not able to have our Grandparent’s days this year, and open house has been canceled. We will, however, be sending information home soon about parent – caregiver conferences.
Please be sure to let us know of any concerns you may have about your child’s care. We strive to do our very best.
