Our childcare center is really blossoming with the nicer weather! Our spring Easter candy sale was very successful. Thank you to all who sold or donated. We use the profits from our fundraisers to keep our playgrounds safe and fun. A special shout out to the Belinda family, who were the high sales persons! The childcare made a profit of over $6,000. Take a look at the new equipment on the preschool/school age playground. We have plans to upgrade the toddler playground surface soon.
We enjoyed our Easter party in April, learned the letters M, N, and V. Life Steps visited to do some screening of the children. We are so appreciative of this service. We hope the results were helpful to those who had their children screened.
Breakfast with Mom was a big hit. Everyone seemed to enjoy the special time with her child and grandchild. Keep alert for our Breakfast with Dad to be held next month. The regular classes are coming to an end with our “School Year” curriculum, and the Pre K classes are excited for graduation! Please plan to join us on the evening of June 8th at 7:00 to celebrate their accomplishments and to send them off to Kindergarten.
The Summer curriculum will begin next month and looks to be fun! If your child will be attending different days and times this summer, please notify Miss Micki so that she can schedule accordingly.
If you see them, please welcome our newest employees, Mr. Chris and Miss Angela. Angela started in January and is primarily in the infant room and Chris started in March and loves the toddlers! We are so happy to have them join our family. We will, however, be saying goodbye to Miss Katie. She and her husband, Rich are expecting their third child to their family soon, and she will be taking an extended leave of absence to welcome and care for their infant baby girl.
Just a reminder: We need to have on file, a current physical for your child. Please pick up a form for every well visit, so that we can keep in compliance. Also, if you provide sunscreen for your child, please label it with his or her name. We may not share sunscreen with family members, so you will need to provide a separate one for each child.
