We have had so much fun this summer. The summer flew by so fast. Our school aged children were so well behaved and I think they had a great time. We are ending our last full week of summer by going to the Splash Pad in Leetsdale. We will be taking two groups two different days.
The PreK children have been joining the School Agers for the afternoon and forgoing their naps. This is a sure sign that summer is almost over. Kindergarden orientation is this week, and school begins on August 26th for most of our children.
These few months have brought many changes to our staffing, as well. Miss Rikki and Miss Sandy have accepted positions elsewhere and will be leaving us. These two special women will be missed immensley by staff, the children and their parents. Please keep them in prayer as they begin a new chapter in their lives. Also, be in prayer for our staffing. We have one new employee. Joan Lyons has begun to work a few days a week. Laura Mullens has returned following a long medical leave and Deb Taylor and Heather Nelson will be returning soon.
