Today is Groundhog Day! We are celebrating with a party. Unfortunately, he saw his shadow, and we will have more snow. This is the way we make the middle of winter a little more fun. We have parties! Next week, on the 13th, we will celebrate Valentine’s Day. During “P” Week we will have a PJ Party. That will be on the 25th. I love staying in my PJ’s to come to work. During the week of February 23rd, we will “set” our chicken eggs in the incubator for a hatching during Spring week.
Our Rosalind Easter Candy fundraiser is underway. The orders may be taken now and turned in by Monday, March 9th. The candy will be ready for pick up on Thursday, March 26th. All the profits made from our sales go to improve our playground. This year, we need to improve the toddler’s play surface. All the other equipment will be inspected and repaired. We have always done well with our candy sales, and hope to do so this year as well.
This is the time of the year that we get all the children’s files updated. Be sure to make some time to go over the information and make changes as necessary.
