So much has been going on since the last post. We have had a Harvest Party and celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas. We rejoiced when Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow, passed out our valentines and said Happy Birthday to Dr. Suess. St. Patrick’s day and our Easter party was so much fun too! Thank you for everyone who participated in our fund raisers. The Belinda family was our high seller! We will be purchasing something to replace the playground ship as soon as we do some research. Life Steps will be here during the week of April 8th to do evaluations. This is a free service to the parents and can help catch possible early learning or sight problems. You will find a permission slip in your child’s cubby or on the front table.
Our early learning program is coming to an end soon and if your child is enrolled in one of our Pre K classes, please save the date for our Graduation Ceremony. This year, graduation May 23rd at 7:00pm. All friends and family members are invited to attend. We will be having a Mother’s day Breakfast on May 12th and a Father’s day Breakfast on June 14th.
We would like to welcome Miss Angela back! She does such a great job, no matter what group she is with. On a sad note, Miss Denise has left us for personal reasons. She was a wonderful addition to our staff and is already sorely missed. If you know of anyone who loves children, and would like to work with our Mt. Pleasant Staff, send them our way.
