Our summer at Mt. Pleasant Child Care is in full swing! We have already enjoyed all the fun activities in June, having a father’s day breakfast with our dads was one of the highlights. We held a ceremony for our Pre K graduates, and had a bicycle parade.
July will be just as much fun. The staff from Child Evangelism Fellowship are here this week to hold their 5 Day Club for our preschool, Pre K, and school aged children. They come every year to have a Bible School for our kids. This is a wonderful organization who also run a day camp in August. The day camp is free and the bus leaves from Mt. Pleasant’s parking lot. You can find a brochure about this camp on our entry table.
Mt. Pleasant’s VBS will be held here on the week of July 26th. The child care staff will be running it in the mornings of that week for preschool through school age. The church will also be running VBS in the evenings of that week.
We are going on field trips again! The Pre K and School age children will be traveling to Moon Park during water week on July 14th to play on the splash pad. They will also enjoy a picnic lunch while there. Get your child’s permission slip in early as seating on the bus is limited. A field trip for the preschoolers is also being planned. More information will be available soon,
